Guatemalan. Figurative - primitivist line painter. Architect and Bachelor of Visual Arts. He has developed as: Architectural Professional, Advertising Creative, University Teacher, Children's Illustrator, Cultural Promoter and Cultural Photojournalist. A watercolorist par excellence, he is known in the Central American art scene for his pictorial series called "TUKUR" (owl in the Quiche language), the main character in his work loaded with cultural syncretism. He writes short stories, as well as poetry, which he inserts into his painting. He is the author of the books: "Blue Eyes" bilingual edition of poems, "Versus and other stories" as well as "Stories of Tukur" bilingual editions. In 2020 he was the protagonist of the documentary "Discovering the Tukur". Since the year 1,984, he ventured into the Guatemalan plastic movement and among some of his most important prizes and awards, we can mention:

His work and pictorial series "TUKUR" have been integrated into private collections inside and outside Guatemala (Mexico, USA, France, Central America), and to date he has 12 personal exhibitions and more than 100 collective exhibitions in galleries and institutions that promote art and culture. His work appears and has been documented in catalogs and specialized magazines in the field of Guatemalan contemporary art.
